Our Favourite Christmas Books for 2017

‘Tis the season for more seasonal books!  We have a few standby favourites for the holidays and a few new ones each year.  I’ve collected some that are a hit in our house and hopefully they will be in yours, too.  Wherever possible I’ve included links for you.   Books make great Christmas gifts and are generally easy to get last minute since they rarely sell out completely.

I ordered some of these books from Indigo, some from Amazon, and I believe a few were gifts.  Don’t forget that Amazon can usually ship within a day or two, as always!

Georgia loves the “That’s Not My Reindeer” book by Fiona Watt, even though she’s probably too old for them.  She loves to pretend to read on her own so these ones have that extra bit of fun since they’re touch and feel.  Noah’s loves his new book “Stick Man” by Julia Donaldson, which is not even necessarily a Christmas book, but has a reference to Christmas and a bit of a holiday feel.  It is quite funny and one that will get a lot of wear in our house.

We are super excited about “Finding Christmas” by Robert Munsch because it is the first Robert Munsch book the kids have really gotten into which tells me their at the right age for more of his books! I always loved him as an author growing up so it will be nostalgic to read his books to my kids.  Little Blue Truck is also a really fun series.  If you ever see them, pick one up!  Do you have any favourite holiday or Christmas books?  Please share them with me!
