The holidays are my favourite time of year by far. I am a total Christmas elf and I love everything about it: the food, the family time, the wrapping, the fun activities we do with the kids, and of course: the decorating.
I love all white for my Christmas decorating. There are definitely some metallics and a few pastels thrown in but most of all I use white. I wasn’t able to photograph my dining table centrepiece because I haven’t made it yet (it will be done with all natural greenery). I’ll definitely post photos of the table – including the food – once Christmas actually comes.
We have a flocked tree which is a FLOCKING mess but totally worth it! It looks so snowy and magical. Everybody who sees it asks me about it. We always tuck faux flowers into the branches before adding ornaments. I love the ones that look like they’re covered in snow. I am also really into those tiny white ceramic tea light houses (you’ll see lots of them), and I can’t get enough reindeer! Lastly, my theory is that if you add twinkle lights just about everywhere you are able, you’ll be all set! Costco had beautiful LED ones in a set of 4 this year. I’ll try to do a quick walk-through tour in the evening once everything is lit up on my Instagram stories in the next few days. Be sure to follow me on Instagram so that you don’t miss it!
Anyway, let’s keep it short and sweet – enjoy the photos! Please let me know what you do for holiday decorating in the comments below!

Such beautiful and thoughtful decorations! We have an eclectic style of decorations and add new ornaments every year, my favourite are felt ones. This year we added Optimus Prime, a basketball and a curling rock lol!
I love eclectic style and felt is so beautiful! Super cute – hope you’ll post some photos of those new ornaments! 🙂
