We had the most wonderful day celebrating our little rainbow baby (ok, she’s not a baby but she’ll always be MY baby, right?). I chose the theme TWO WILD because it totally fits her personality. She is a firecracker for sure!
I ordered custom sugar cookies from the oh-so-talented Cookie Nomad and they were so unreal I hardly wanted to let anyone eat them.
As for the rest, I partnered with some amazing local brands and I was totally blown away.
The loot bags were done by Loots of Luv. They were presented in retro jelly baskets (my favourite) in colours that totally matched the party’s theme. Inside we found beautiful nature and animal-inspired goodies like bee-friendly planting kits, paint your own wooden animals, flower sunglasses, and little shovels for the DIY planting kits. She did custom tags thanking Sloane’s friends for making her party “two wild” and tied cute little felt monstera leaves onto the front. They were all wrapped beautiful with natural rafia inside the jelly bags.
ALL of the party décor (except the balloons), including the large paper leaves and all of the paper dinnerware, cups, wooden flatware, confetti, party banners, and crocodile mini piñatas were supplied by Party et Cie. I cannot get enough of her curated, eclectic shop. Party et Cie has supplies for every possible theme, event, and get-together. There are also plenty of neutral, classic items that you could use to fit a more custom theme. I loved it ALL. The kids were VERY excited about the little piñatas which contained more confetti and some fun, shiny temporary tattoos.
Last, but not least, the stunning professional balloon installations were done by Kaidy Balloons. Kaidy and her husband work so hard (and so quickly) to set up the most stunning displays. I don’t know that we’ll take them down anytime soon – I can’t even handle how gorgeous they are!
They did two big installations – one in the doorway leading into our kitchen/family room and another HUGE one over our large kitchen window. There were also foil animal print balloons on weights around the house and some large ones all around the floor. The kids had a blast playing with the loose balloons (and this also kept them from messing with the balloon garlands – bonus!).
Sloane was so happy with the way everything turned out. I always find the second birthday so much fun because they really know its their birthday and get SO excited! She kept wanting us to “turn the candle back on” to blow it out again and again. Of course, we did.
I hope you love the photographs. Please check out these wonderful local shops the next time you have a party to throw! I can’t say enough about how impressive and professional they all were to work with.
