I was so excited when we brought baby Sloane home from the hospital to give her herfirst bath. It’s always so sweet to see how they react and my babies have always loved sitting in the warm water while I bathe them.
JOHNSON’S® was so kind to send us their CottonTouch™ products, and we have been using them on Sloane since her first bath.
I am always happy when a brand invests time, money and effort into creating products that give mom and dad peace of mind, and for over 125 years JOHNSON’S® has done just that. Most particularly, JOHNSON’S® has listened to parents from around the world and reformulated their products, inside and out.
The CottonTouch™ products are free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates and dyes. Also, the washes, lotions & hair care products are made with 96% naturally-derived ingredients which is so important to our family.
Sloane absolutely loves the bath, and could probably sit in there for an hour if I let her! It eases my mind to know that CottonTouch™ is specially designed for newborn’s delicate skin. All JOHNSON’S® products are designed to be close to baby’s natural skin pH and hair pH as it helps to avoid disrupting the skin barrier, which helps maintain moisture levels.
One of my favourite parts of bathing baby Sloane is the post-bath snuggle in her towel, and giving her a little massage with lotion. The CottonTouch™ Newborn Face & Body Lotion is a breathable and hydrating water-based formula and is actually made with real cotton!
The lightweight texture absorbs into her skin rapidly without leaving any residue, and it keeps her skin moisturized for up to 24 hours. She absolutely loves the massage, especially on her legs and feet (who wouldn’t?).
Probably my favourite thing about the new JOHNSON’S® CottonTouch™ products is the incredible scent! I always spend the rest of the evening smelling Sloane’s hair and skin. If you want to pick some up for yourself you can find it here! We have really enjoyed this line!
Let me know what you think of it in the comments below and tell me how old your baby is!
