Holiday Gift Guide – For Her

It is time to start thinking about Christmas shopping (if you haven’t already!), so I thought I’d compile a few gift guides for you.  Check back soon to see a gift guide for him and a gift guide for kids!  I’ve added links to everything below along with a little bit of explanation as well.  Enjoy and happy shopping!

1 // Lush “Butterball” Bath Bomb and Lush “Scrubee” Body Butter     2 // Kate Spade Earrings     // Google Home Mini     // Nuby Stroller Cup Holder

5 // lululemon Align Pant II     6 // Wilfred “Jasmine” Dress     7 // Buxom Full-On Lip Cream     8 // GAP Crazy Stripe Sweater Leggings     9 // Tarte Palette

10 // Starbucks     11 // Silence + Noise Coat

I love anything cozy so you’ll notice that most of these items have a cozy, wintery feel to them.  I’ve tried to include some clothing, some beauty items, a treat, and a couple of practical items.  Read on to find out what I’ve linked here and why!

1:  Years ago I used to steer clear of LUSH stores.  I think I found it too overwhelming (so many products!), but now I’m hooked.  Everything they sell is vegetarian and handmade, and everything I’ve ever used form there I love.  Do yourself a favour and go in.  Talk to an employee who will steer you in the right direction and I guarantee you’ll be hooked.

Lush Butterball Bath Bomb

This bath bomb is the ultimate in luxury.  It has a soft vanilla scent and creates a buttery froth in your bath.  Not only does it smell and feel great, but it contains large flecks of cocoa butter to keep your skin hydrated in the dry winter.

Lush Scrubee Body Butter

One of my favourite staple beauty products.  This cute little bee contains ground almonds and coconut shell for exfoliation and softening honey, cocoa and shea butter  for moisturizing, in alternating bumble bee stripes.  Simply rub into your wet skin in the shower before you get out and pat your skin dry.

2:  Kate Spade New York Crystal Teardrop

I have several pairs of Kate Spade NY studs that I wear just about every day but they’re quite large.  I’m always looking for a smaller version for every day, and these are JUST perfect.  They are simple enough that they’d suit anyone.  They’re a lovely teardrop colour and come in a pretty rose gold finish.

3: Google Home Mini – Right now 50% off for Black Friday!  Only $39!

This is a gift for the woman who has everything.  We have this speaker in our kitchen (thanks to Trey), and I sometimes hate that we basically live with a robot, but it does have some pretty cool uses.  I can ask it to play something from Netflix and it will turn on my TV and start off where I left off, for example!  It will tell you the weather, convert measurements when cooking, and set multiple timers for you.  I use it most often for the timer function when I’m cooking a meal with lots of moving parts and my hands are full.  It is a cool gadget – oh!  And it tells HILARIOUS Dad jokes!

4: Nuby Stroller Cup Holder in black

This may seem silly.  This one is not only for moms, but anyone who likes to drink a hot drink while shopping!  I have cup holders for my strollers already but this one fits on almost ANYTHING.  Most notably, I use it when I go to Costco or the grocery store.  I attach it to the shopping cart and off I go, without worrying about spilling my matcha latte or, even worse, leaving it on a shelf in one of the aisles.  It is a super affordable gift but I get asked about it everywhere I go and I know if you leave it in your trunk you’ll thank me later!

5: lululemon Align Pant II

My absolute favourite lululemon pants.  These are great for the gym but also for every day wear.  They are buttery soft, and feature sweat-wicking fabric.  My favourite feature?  They’re high-waisted and probably the most comfortable pants I own.  They basically feel like you’re not wearing pants at all, which is how I pretty much always want to feel!

6: Wilfred Jasmeen Sweater Dress – also on sale right now!

This pretty, slouchy dress is made of merino wool from Italy and is super soft and warm.  I love the black because it looks a little less casual but still super comfy.

7: Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian

This high-shine gloss contains no glitter or shimmer, but has a plumping effect.  It is a great neutral gloss to keep in your purse or car for a quick boost of colour and shine, and it contains vitamins A and E for softening which is key in the winter!

8: GAP Crazy Stripe Sweater Leggings

These are just so much fun.  They’re obviously popular because they’re already sold out in Canada but still available on the U.S. site.  They also sell them in kids’ sizes so you can twin with your mini!

9: Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette

Taste palettes are my go-to.  This one includes 12 on-trend shadows: nine mattes (my favourite) and three lusters.  They’ve divided them up into lid, liner, and crease pairings to make things easy on you.  The Amazonian clay formula is super smooth and pigmented, but also blends really easily.

10: Starbucks

A Starbucks gift card will never go unused.  Try my favourite seasonal drink, the peppermint hot chocolate (half sweet, no whip, no toppings) – or the mocha version if you like coffee!

11: Silence + Noise Magnolia Reversible Coat

Available at Urban Outfitters.  I own this coat in tan/cream and love it.  It is cut with an oversized, long-line look to it and of course is not the most structured and put together coat, but is so cozy and cute with its oversized hood + drop long sleeves… and don’t forget that its reversible!

I hope this gift guide is helpful to you this holiday season!  Remember to follow me on Instagram for updates on new blog posts!
