Valentine’s LOVE Baskets

Valentine’s Day in our home has kind of always been for the kids and we love to make it special with little gifts to make the holiday extra exciting. This may not look like a little gift, and I want to remind you all that gifts of any kind definitely are not necessary. We are very blessed that the kids are gifted lots of lovely things from local shops and brands.

My Mom always made holidays special for us. We usually got some chocolate, cinnamon hearts, and maybe a little stuffed animal or something but ti didn’t matter what it was, just acknowledging the holidays and making them feel special was what mattered most.

I’m showing you here different ways to pack the kids’ gifts, as well as what we have inside of ours this year. The crates are from Paper & Parties and the heart raffia basket is from Pottery Barn Kids.

Now for what’s inside!

The Hunter boots were one of the items I picked up because they truly do need new rain boots and I got them all on sale! The girls have a few pretty, handmade bows and the beautiful felt rainbow necklaces. All of these are from Mama Whimsy Shop. You can use my code MISSY10 for 10% off your purchase.

Each child got a book, too. I know the older two are getting too old for the types of books I put in this year but next year I’ll get them a novel.

We were so kindly sent 3 animals from the new Cuddle + Kind baby collection. The kids were THRILLED to add these to their collection, and I love that this brand helps to feed children in need.

A local, woman-owned business called Cara Supply Co. sent the kids these really sweet silicone craft kits. They are a silicone and craft supply company and I love all of their products. Just today the four of us sat down and they were able to make keychains and necklaces that looked store-bought!

As filler, I picked up some bath bombs from Lush, and some fun extras from the dollar store like chocolates, erasers, and lollipops.

What is your favourite item in these? Do you give your kids gifts (big or small) for Valentine’s Day?
