Hello!
I’m Missy, the owner of Squish & Sprout. I am a mother of two (with another one on the way!) and photographer in Toronto, Canada. I specialize in photographing newborns, babies, maternity, and families in a very clean and classic style.
My interest in photography grew exponentially when my first child (a son) was born. I wanted to capture every little wrinkle, eyelash, and tiny detail from day one. I took many courses, not just on photography, but on safe and proper handling of newborns, how to effectively calm a baby, professional posing techniques, and more. I work with high-quality equipment and offer location options from a natural light studio, to your home, to outdoors. I am drawn to clean lines, minimalism, beautiful light and bright images, and negative space. Most clients describe my work as bright, airy, simple, and classic.
Now that I also have a little girl I’m even more passionate about capturing my children interacting with each other and capturing all of those special family moments for other families as well.
I always say that you will never regret getting wonderful photos taken of your children. Becoming a parent is the most beautiful, momentous event (probably in your entire life) and documenting your baby’s first few days is something you will cherish forever. It would be my honour to turn these special memories into lifelong family keepsakes for you.
